About the Program
Press Action sponsored "Outside the Ballot Box: Election 2004 & Beyond," a panel discussion on the 2004 presidential election and third-party politics. Panelists include Mark Andersen, author of "All The Power: Revolution Without Illusion"; Elaine Cassel, author of "The War on Civil Liberties: How Bush and Ashcroft Have Dismantled the Bill of Rights"; and Mickey Z, author of "The Seven Deadly Spins: Exposing the Lies Behind War Propaganda." All three panelists talk about the ways in which third and independent party politics can play a more significant role in modern elections. They discuss ways of implementing this change at the different levels of government.
