About the Program

"What I Saw at the Revolution," is the memoir of Peggy Noonan, speechwriter and special assistant to President Ronald Reagan from 1984 to 1986 and chief speechwriter for George H.W. Bush during his 1988 presidential campaign.  Ms. Noonan appeared on Booknotes to discuss the book in 1990, shortly after it was published.

Peggy Noonan served as a speechwriter for the Reagan administration. She has authored seven books, including "John Paul the Great: Remembering a Spiritual Father." Ms. Noonan is a columnist for the Wall Street Journal.
