About the Program
In "Flags of Our Fathers" James Bradley chronicles the World War II battle of Iwo Jima- one of the most well-known in America military history. In this interview from 2000 the author discusses the lives and legacies of the six men who raised the flag at Iwo Jima. James Bradley is the son of one of the flagraisers, John "Doc" Bradley and interviewed many of the other flag raisers' family members.
