George McGovern died at the age of 90 on October 21, 2012.

George McGovern

George McGovern, former Democratic Party presidential candidate and U.S. Senator, served as the first United Nations Global Ambassador on World Hunger. Bob Dole served as a U.S. Senator from the state of Kansas from 1969 to 1996 and was Senate Majority Leader from 1985-1987 and 1995-1996. Mr. Dole was the Republican candidate for President in 1996. Donald Messer is the director of the Center for the Church and Global AIDS at the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO. Mr. Messer is also a theology professor and President Emeritus at the Iliff School of Theology.

Bob Dole

Bob Dole served as a U.S. Senator from the state of Kansas from 1969 to 1996 and was Senate Majority Leader from 1985 to 1987 and 1995 to 1996. Mr. Dole was the Republican Party's candidate for President in 1996.

Donald Messer is the director of the Center for the Church and Global AIDS in Colorado. Mr. Messer is also a theology professor and President Emeritus at the Iliff School of Theology in Denver.
