Suzanne Garment

About the Program

In this Encore Booknotes from October 1991, author and attorney Suzanne Garment joins host Brian Lamb in a discussion of her book, “Scandal.” According to Mrs. Garment, scandals such as Watergate, ABSCAM, and the Iran-Contra affair have eroded public trust in government. She examines what she terms is the “criminalization of politics” and the roles played by the White House, Congress, the courts and the press.
