About the Program

Jack Devine talks about his 32-year career with the Central Intelligence Agency.  Mr. Devine headed up the CIA's efforts to arm the mujahideen in Afghanistan, was involved in the Iran-Contra Affair, and helped track down FBI mole Robert Hanssen.  He spoke at an event hosted by the Association of Former Intelligence Officers in McLean, Virginia.

Jack Devine served as acting director and associate director of the CIA's operations outside the United States.  He is currently the president of The Arkin Group, a corporate intelligence firm.
