About the Program
Ron Capps, a combat veteran of the war in Afghanistan (U.S. Army) and founder of the Veterans Writing Project, talks about his experiences in war zones (Afghanistan, Iraq, Rwanda, Kosovo, Darfur) and the damaging effect that war has had on him. He spoke at The Half King in New York City.
Ron Capps served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve from 1983-2008 and is a combat veteran of the war in Afghanistan. Mr. Capps also served as a Foreign Service political officer from 1994-2008.
