Lynne Cheney, senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, examines the political philosophy and presidential tenure of James Madison.  America's fourth president, and co-author of the Federalist Papers, was integral in the management of the Louisiana Purchase prior to his presidency and led the country during the War of 1812.  Mrs. Cheney discusses her book with her husband and former vice president Dick Cheney at the Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, California.
