"The Kidney Sellers: A Journey of Discovery in Iran"

About the Program

Sigrid Fry-Revere, founder and president of the Center for Ethical Solutions, talks about the ethics and politics surrounding the selling of human organs.  She travelled to Iran, where the selling of organs is legal, to study if that country has solved the problem of organ shortages, a major problem in the U.S. today.  This event was held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library in Washington, DC.

Sigrid Fry-Revere

Sigrid Fry-Revere is the founder and president of the Center for Ethical Solutions, which works to educate the public about patient care ethics.  She has taught bioethics and law at the University of Virginia and George Mason University.  Ms. Fry-Revere is the author of "The Accountability of Bioethics Committees and Consultants."  For more, visit: ethical-solutions.org.
