"Fukushima: The Story of a Nuclear Disaster"

Edwin Lyman

About the Program

Edwin Lyman takes a behind-the-scenes look at what happened at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in March 2011 and the damage it caused around the world.  He argues that Fukushima revealed the dangers that still accompany nuclear power and exposed the lack of worst-case scenario planning by the Japanese government.  Mr. Lyman spoke at Politics and Prose Bookstore in Washington, DC.
