"The Revolt Against the Masses: How Liberalism Has Undermined the Middle Class"

Fred Siegel

About the Program

Fred Siegel argues that the roots of modern liberalism can be found in the writings of post-WWI figures like Sinclair Lewis, Randolph Bourne, and H.L. Mencken.  He says that these founders of modern liberalism despised both the business class and Main Street American values and culture.  This event was hosted by the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC.
