About the Program
From the International Summit of the Book, a panel entitled, "Copyright and the Book: A Conversation about Authors, Publishers, and the Public Interest" featuring Tom Allen, president and ceo, Association of American Publishers, James Shapiro, vice president of the Author's Guild and Peter Jaszi, law professor at American University. The panel is moderated by Maria Pallante, United States Register of Copyrights. The International Summit of the Book is hosted by the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C
