Rachel Cox recounts the decision by five men, including her Uncle Rob Cox, to leave their Ivy League schools and join the British Army in the spring of 1941, six months prior to Pearl Harbor and America's involvement in World War II.  The author reports on the experiences of the five Americans who were assigned to the 7th Armored Division of the British Eighth Army on the North African front.  Rachel Cox speaks at Northshire Bookstore in Manchester Center, Vermont.
