William Silber is the Marcus Nadler Professor of Finance and Economics and director of the Glucksman Institute for Research in Securities Markets at NYU's Stern School of Business. He is the author of "When Washington Shut Down Wall Street: The Great Financial Crisis of 1914 and the Origins of America's Monetary Supremacy."

Paul Volcker
Paul Volcker served as chairman of the Federal Reserve Board from 1979 to 1987. He also served as chairman of the Economic Recovery Advisory Board under President Obama from 2009 to 2011.
