About the Program
From the 2012 Harlem Book Fair, a panel discussion on the 2012 presidential election. The panelists include, Khalil Gibran Muhammad, The Condemnation of Blackness: Race, Crime, and the Making of Modern Urban America, Cornel West, The Rich and the Rest of Us: A Poverty Manifesto, Frederick Harris, The Price of the Ticket: Barack Obama and the Rise and Decline of Black Politics, and author and activist Sonia Sanchez. The panel is moderated by Peniel Joseph, author of Dark Days, Bright Nights: From Black Power to Barack Obama.
