About the Authors

David Crist

David Crist is a frequent adviser on the Middle East to U.S. military officials and a historian for the federal government. Mr. Crist served in the Gulf War and did two tours in Afghanistan and Iraq with special operations forces as a Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve.
