Richard Betts

Richard Betts is a professor of war and peace studies at Columbia University and director of Columbia's Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies.  Prof. Betts is a former staff member of the original Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (the Church Committee), the National Security Council, and the Mondale Presidential Campaign.  His books include, “Soldiers, Statesmen, and Cold War Crises” and “Enemies of Intelligence.”
