About the Program

Reginald Dwayne Betts talks about "A Question of Freedom," his memoir about serving an eight-year prison sentence for car-jacking at the age of 16 and the lessons he learned there.  He discusses his book with Eduardo Bocanegra, a CeaseFire Violence Interrupter.

Reginald Dwayne Betts, a graduate student at Warren Wilson College,  is the founder of YoungMenRead, a book club for at-risk young men.  He Betts teaches poetry at public schools in the Washington, DC metro area.
