"Reckless: The Political Assault on the American Environment"

Bob Deans

About the Program

Bob Deans talks about legislation pushed by Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives that he says weakens or reverses environmental laws that have been on the books for decades.  Mr. Deans argues that the Republican Party, which in the past has supported environmental protection, is now largely beholden to corporate polluters and Tea Party activists.  He spoke about the book at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
