About the Authors

Thomas Farr

Thomas Farr, who spent 21 years in the American Foreign Service, is a visiting associate professor of religion and world affairs at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service.  He is also a senior fellow at the Witherspoon Institute in Princeton, New Jersey.  Prof. Banchoff was the first director of the State Department’s Office of International Religious Freedom.
