About the Program
Eli Saslow, staff writer at the Washington Post, reports on the letters that are sent to President Obama from the American public, ten of which the President reads every night. Mr. Saslow profiles several of the letter writers, from Thomas Ritter, a conservative from Texas who wrote to the President detailing his political frustrations and received a two page response to Lucy Guiterrez a Mexican-American in Arizona who wrote to the President about the anguish she faced in the wake of a recently passed immigration law. Eli Saslow speaks at One More Page Books in Arlington, Virginia.
