Bill Vlasic is the Detroit bureau chief for the New York Times and a former reporter for the Detroit News and BusinessWeek.  He won the Gerald Loeb Award for excellence in financial journalism in 2005.  Mr. Vlasic also co-authored "Taken for a Ride" with Bradley Stertz.
