After Words: Susan Herman, "Taking Liberties: The War on Terror and the Erosion of American Democracy," hosted by Viet Dinh, Georgetown Law

About the Program

Ms. Herman asserts that anti-terrorism laws such as the Patriot Act have damaged the lives of many citizens.  Additionally, the ACLU President believes that President Obama has relied on secrecy to maintain these laws, just as President George W. Bush did.  She discusses her findings with former Assistant Attorney General and Georgetown law professor Viet Dinh.
