About the Program

Willard Sterne Randall, history professor at Champlain College, recounts the life of American Revolutionary War figure, Ethan Allen.  The leader of the Green Mountain Boys, Allen is remembered for his attack on Fort Ticonderoga in 1775 and his time spent as a prisoner-of-war in England.  Ethan Allen died on February 12, 1789 at the age of 52..  Willard Sterne Randall speaks at Politics & Prose Bookstore in Washington, D.C.
