"Unlikely Brothers: Our Story of Adventure, Loss, and Redemption"

Michael Mattocks; John Prendergast

About the Program

John Prendergast and Michael Mattocks talk about their joint memoir at McNally Jackson Books in New York City.  Prendergast, a human rights activist and co-founder of the Enough Project, became a Big Brother to Mattocks when the latter was a homeless 7-year-old in Washington, D.C., and Prendergast was 20.  During this event, they are interviewed by NBC's Ann Curry.
