Novelist Francine Prose is author of the nonfiction New York Times bestseller Reading Like a Writer and Anne Frank: The Book, the Life, the Afterlife.
Julie Otsuka
Julie Otsuka was a winner of the sixth annual Asian American Literary Award in 2003. One of Julie Otsuka's short stories was included in Scribner's Best of the Fiction Workshops 1998.
Karen Russell
Karen Russell is the 2005 recipient of the Transatlantic Review/Henfield Foundation Award. Karen Russell's writing has appeared in Conjunctions, Granta, Zoetrope, Oxford American, and The New Yorker.
