Barbara Perry is a former judicial fellow at the U.S. Supreme Court .  She is the author of The Priestly Tribe: The Supreme Court's Image in the American Mind and co-author of Freedom and the Court: Civil Rights and Liberties in the United States. She is currently a senior fellow at the University of Virginia's Miller Center of Public Affairs.
