From the 2011 Tucson Festival of Books at the University of Arizona, a panel discussion on history and the American West.  The panelists include, Jeff Guinn, Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde, Michael Hiltzik, Colossus: Hoover Dam and the Making of the American Century, and Stephen Fried, Appetite for America: How Visionary Businessman Fred Harvey Built a Railroad Hospitality Empire that Civilized the Wild West.  The event is moderated by Leo Banks, writer for Tucson Weekly.

Jeff Guinn

Jeff Guinn is the author of several books, including Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde.  Mr. Guinn is a former book editor for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Stephen Fried

Michael Hiltzik

Michael Hiltzik is the author of several books, including Colossus: The Turbulent, Thrilling Saga of the Building of the Hoover Dam.  He is a business columnist at the Los Angeles Times, where he has reported on technology, public policy, and business for twenty years.  Mr. Hiltzik was the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for his reportage in 1999.
