Douglas Waller, former correspondent for Time and Newsweek, recounts the life of William “Wild Bill” Donovan, often thought of as the father of the CIA.  Mr. Waller examines William Donvoan’s leadership of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during World War II and Mr. Donovan's thoughts on the use of counter intelligence, which according to the author made him a divisive figure.  Douglas Waller recounts the career of William "Wild Bill" Donovan at the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C.

Douglas Waller is a former correspondent for Time and Newsweek. He has served on the legislative staffs of Sen. William Proxmire and Rep.
