A former advisor to the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. presents a behind the scenes picture of the weeks leading up to the March on Washington, and the writing and delivery of the civil rights leader's "I Have a Dream" speech.  He discusses these historic events with Black Studies professor and author Herb Boyd.

About the Authors

Clarence Jones

Clarence Jones was an advisor to Martin Luther King, Jr. for eight years. Mr. Jones is currently a scholar in residence at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute at Stanford University.
