About the Program
From the 2010 Tucson Festival of Books, a panel discussion on writing history for a popular audience. The panelists include, Hampton Sides, Hellhound On His Trail: The Stalking of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the International Hunt for His Assassin, Jeff Guinn, Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde, and James Donovan, A Terrible Glory - Custer and the Little Bighorn: The Last Great Battle of the American West. The event is moderated by Paul Hutton, author of The Custer Reader.
Jeff Guinn
Jeff Guinn is the author of several books, including Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde. Mr. Guinn is a former book editor for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Hampton Sides
Hampton Sides is the author of Blood and Thunder and Ghost Soldiers, which was the recipient of the 2002 PEN USA award for nonfiction. His forthcoming book, Hellhound on His Trail will be published in April 2010. Mr. Sides is currently editor-at-large for Outside magazine.

James Donovan
