About the Authors

Madeleine Albright

Madeleine Albright served as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations from 1993 to 1997 and as Secretary of State during the second term of the Clinton administration (1997 to 2001), becoming the first female to hold the position. She is the author of "Madam Secretary" and "The Mighty and the Almighty: Reflections on America, God, and World Affairs."  Sec. Albright is currently a professor of diplomacy at Georgetown University.
