The Idea of Justice

Amartya Sen

About the Program

In Amartya Sen's latest work he argues that a just society consists of more than just a government and citizenry that abides by agreed upon laws (as argued by philosopher John Rawls).  He spoke at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral Youth Center in New York City (hosted by McNally Jackson Bookstore).
