Matthew Spalding
Matthew Spalding is Director of B. Kenneth Simon Center for American Studies at the Heritage Foundation, where he is also project leader for the First Principles initiative. He's taught at several universities, including George Mason University and the Catholic University. He's author or editor of several books, including "A Sacred Union of Citizens: George Washington’s Farewell Address and the American Character" and "The Heritage Guide to the Constitution."
