About the Program

Dongping Han talks about life during China's cultural revolution (1966-1976).  He argues that the revolution had many successes and discusses the influence of Mao's writings on those who participated.  This event was part of a conference on the Cultural Revolution held at University of California at Berkeley hosted by Revolution Books.

Dongping Han teaches history and political science at Warren Wilson College in North Carolina.
