About the Program
Craig Shirley, author of Reagan's Revolution, recounts Ronald Reagan's 1980 presidential campaign. Mr. Shirley follows President Reagan from his defeat for the presidency in 1976 to his election four years later over the incumbent President Jimmy Carter. The author interviewed over 150 participants from the presidential campaign from Reagan advisers to Jimmy Carter. Craig Shirley presents his book at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.
