Gordon Goldstein appeared on C-SPAN's Washington Journal to discuss his book "Lessons in Disaster," about Kennedy/Johnson national security adviser McGeorge Bundy and his role in the escalation of the U.S. war in Vietnam.  In October 2009, it was reported that several members of President Obama's national security team were reading Mr. Gordon's book.  During his Washington Journal appearance, Mr. Gordon was interviewed and took questions from C-SPAN viewers.

Gordon Goldstein, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, previously served as an international security adviser to the United Nations secretary-general and as a Wayland Fellow at the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University.
