John Limbert, distinguised professor of international affairs at the U.S. Naval Academy, talks about past and present attempts by the U.S. to deal with Iran and outlines strategies for U.S. negotiators to use in the future.  Mr. Limbert spoke at Politics and Prose Bookstore in Washington, DC.     

About the Authors

John Limbert

John Limbert spent 33 years in the U.S. Foreign Service before joining the Naval Academy.  He served as ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania from 2000 to 2003.  Mr. Limbert is the author of "Iran: At War with History" and "Shiraz in the Age of Hafez."
