Robert Dallek and James Mann appeared at the Fall for the Book festival in Fairfax, Virginia to talk about their books on Presidents Truman (Dallek) and Reagan (Mann). The two presidents bookended The Cold War which ended twenty years ago with fall of the Soviet Union. Includes Q&A.
Robert Dallek
Robert Dallek is the author of numerous books on the history of the American presidency, including "Lone Star Rising," "Flawed Giant," and "Nixon and Kissinger."
James Mann
James Mann is the author of numerous books, including "The China Fantasy" and "Rise of the Vulcans." He was formerly a reporter, foreign correspondent, and columnist for the Los Angeles Times. Mr. Mann is currently an author in residence at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
