About the Program
From 1995, Philip K. Howard discusses his book, "The Death of Common Sense: How Law Is Suffocating America," which describes a number of laws and regulations that he argues are unjustified and have no place in American society. Mr. Howard's book was reissued with a new afterword in May 2011.
