"Blowing Up Russia: The Secret Plot to Bring Back KGB Terror"

Yuri Felshtinsky

About the Program

Yuri Felshtinsky argues that Russian president Vladimir Putin is using the Russian secret service to preserve his power and transform Russia back into an authoritarian state.  Mr. Felshtinsky says that the secret service planned bombings and other attacks which were then blamed on Putin's enemies, including Chechen separatists.  He also says that his co-author, former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko, was poisoned to death in London in 2006 for collaborating on the book.
