About the Program

In his book, "Hidden Iran: Paradox and Power in the Islamic Republic," author Ray Takeyh analyzes the relationship between the United States and Iran and proposes a new approach. He says that America has never really understood Iran and he provides an explanation for what he believes is actually happening inside the country. Mr. Takeyh discusses the book with Robert Litwak, director of international security studies at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Mr. Litwak serves as a guest interviewer and is not an employee of C-SPAN.
