Joel Meyerowitz

About the Program

"Aftermath" is photographer Joel Meyerowitz' collection of Ground Zero photos taken shortly after the September 11th terrorist attacks. City officials granted unlimited access to the site and he photographed what he refers to as "the pile" for nine months. To commemorate the fifth anniversary of September 11th, he gives a powerpoint presentation of his photographs at the New York Public Library in New York City.
