About the Program
This week on After Words, Kate O’Beirne, Washington Editor of the National Review shares her story as a combatant in the war between the sexes beginning in the 1970’s when she fought against the Equal Rights Amendment. It's the subject her first book, titled "Women Who Make the World Worse: And How Their Radical Assault Is Ruining Our Schools, Families, Military, and Sports." She is interviewed by Jodi Enda, former president of the Women and Journalism Symposium, who covers on politics, culture, and gender issues for publications including the American Prospect, Mother Jones, and CQ magazine.
