About the Program

Dinesh D'Souza, author of "America," debates Dan McCarthy, editor of The American Conservative magazine, on the subject American foreign policy.  The debate is set up as a mock trial, with Fox Business host Kennedy acting as the judge and Steve Forbes, Doug Casey, Grover Norquist, and Brig. Gen. Michael Meese acting as witnesses.  This event was part of FreedomFest, a libertarian conference held annually in Las Vegas. 

About the Authors

Dinesh D'Souza

Dinesh D'Souza is the former president of The King's College in New York City.  He served as a White House policy analyst under President Reagan and has been a fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and the Hoover Institution.  Mr. D'Souza's many books include "Illiberal Education," "The End of Racism," and "The Roots of Obama's Rage."  For more, visit: dineshdsouza.com.

Dan McCarthy

Dan McCarthy is editor of The American Conservative magazine.  He previously served as the internet communications coordinator for Ron Paul's 2008 presidential campaign and as a senior editor at ISI Books.
