Seyed Hossein Mousavian, a former high-ranking member of Iran's National Security Council, talks about the conflict between Iran and the Unites States over the past decades and suggests ways for the two countries to improve their relationship.  He spoke at the International Peace Institute in New York City.     

About the Authors

Seyed Hossein Mousavian

Seyed Hossein Mousavian served as Iran's ambassador to Germany and was head of the Foreign Relations Committee of Iran's National Security Council.  He also served as a spokesperson for Iran in its nuclear negotiations with the European Union.  Mr. Mousavian is currently a research scholar at Princeton University.
