Former Senator James Webb recounts his early life, as the son of a career military officer, and how it shaped his political career.  A Naval Academy graduate, Webb was a Marine lieutenant in Vietnam, where he received numerous awards for his service.  James Webb speaks at the National Archives in Washington, DC.

James Webb

James Webb served as Secretary of the Navy from May 1987 to February 1988 and is one of the most highly-decorated Marines of the Vietnam War.  Mr. Webb is a former Senator from Virginia, who served from 2007 to 2012.  He is the author of numerous books, including Fields of Fire and A Time to Fight.  For more information, visit jameswebb.com.
