About the Program

From the 2014 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, a panel entitled "The Truth Will Out: Getting the Story."  The panelists include Annie Jacobsen, author of Operation Paperclip: The Secret Intelligence Program That Brought Nazi Scientists to America; Scott Johnson, author of The Wolf and the Watchman: A Father, A Son, and the CIA; Walter Kirn, author of Blood Will Out: The True Story of a Murder, a Mystery, and a Masquerade; and Deanne Stillman, author of Desert Reckoning: A Town Sherriff, a Mojave Hermit, and the Biggest Manhunt in Modern California History.  The panel is moderated by Thomas Curwen, staff writer for the Los Angeles Times, and takes place at the University of Southern California.
