Jack Shaheen, author of "A Is for Arab," joins John Tchen and Dylan Yeats, co-editors of "Yellow Peril!," to talk about the history and current use of Arab and Asian stereotypes in America.  This event was hosted by the Museum of Chinese in America in New York City.     

About the Authors

Jack Shaheen

Jack Shaheen, a distinguished visiting scholar at NYU, is professor emeritus of mass communication at Southern Illinois University and a former consultant on the Middle East for CBS News. He is the author of several books, including "Reel Bad Arabs: How Hollywood Vilifies a People," which was made into a documentary.

John Kuo Wei Tchen

John Tchen is a professor at New York University and the co-founder of the Museum of Chinese in America.  He is the author of "New York Before Chinatown."
