About the Authors
Steve Davis is a curator at the Wittliff Collections at Texas State University-San Marcos. He is a Dallas native and the author of two books on Texas culture: Texas Literary Outlaws: Six Writers in the Sixties and Beyond and J. Frank Dobie: A Liberated Mind.
Mr. Minutaglio is a professor at the University of Texas at Austin and has worked at the Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle, and San Antonio Express-News. Mr. Minutaglio's writings have appeared in The New York Times, Esquire, Newsweek and Texas Monthly, among others. He's written books on George W. Bush, Molly Ivins and Alberto Gonzales.
